Effective January 1, 2017, the companies Crystop GmbH and IPcopter GmbH & Co. KG are joining forces in the fields of development, manufacturing, logistics and customer service for automatically aligning antennas for Internet access via satellite. This joining of forces is underpinned by the acquisition of Crystop shares by IPcopter.

IPcopter’s business volume in the development, distribution and customer service of self-aligning Internet satellite antennas has grown to a size that can only be managed with a strong partner. As part of the partnership, IPcopter is fully handing over the automatic satellite system business to Crystop. With its experience in the RV sector, its reputation as a manufacturer of high quality products and its resources for production, quality assurance, logistics and customer service, Crystop is the ideal partner for IPcopter. Crystop has thus expanded its portfolio with innovative fly-away and drive-away equipment for the Eutelsat tooway network and positioned itself as one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of self-aligning Sat Internet equipment for the Eutelsat and Astra networks, offering excellent value for money and high quality. Together with IPcopter, customers can now be offered antenna systems and Internet access from a single source.

The systems developed for high-speed Internet are available both as DriveAway systems for fixed installation on the vehicle roof and as flexible FlyAway systems for portable use. All systems are characterised by simple operation, both wire- and radio-bound. Current approvals from the satellite operators EutelSat and SES Astra round off the product portfolio and underline the quality of these systems.
